Support
RingKeeper for Android
1 Contact us
Email us with your phone brand and model and a description of what's happening, and we'll help. If the problem is that recordings aren't being found, please try the checks in section 2 first — it resolves most cases.
2 RingKeeper isn't finding my call recordings
RingKeeper does not record calls itself — it reads recordings your phone's own dialer or recorder app has already saved. If your list is empty, work through these in order:
- Check call recording is switched on. Open your phone's Phone/Dialer app → Settings → Call recording, and turn it on. On many Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo and Realme phones this is built in but off by default.
- Make a test call of at least 20–30 seconds and confirm a recording file appears in your phone's recorder or Files app.
- Grant the audio-files permission when RingKeeper asks. Without it the App cannot see the recording folder at all.
- Try All Files Access. On some brands recordings are saved somewhere the App cannot otherwise reach. If RingKeeper offers this option, granting it usually fixes the problem. It is only used to locate call-recording files.
- Exempt RingKeeper from battery optimisation if scans seem to be delayed or skipped. Android may otherwise stop the background scan from running.
Still nothing? Email us with your phone's brand, model and Android version — some manufacturers save recordings in unusual places and we add support for them as we find them.
3 Delete your account and data
You can ask us to delete your RingKeeper account and everything stored with it at any time. To request deletion, email us from the address below with the subject line “Delete my account”, and include the mobile phone number you signed in with so we can identify your account.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in record (phone number).
- Your profile — your name, business name, business description, city and state.
- All of your customer and lead data — names, phone numbers, requirements, budgets, summaries and transcripts.
What to do about data on your phone
Some data is also held in RingKeeper's own storage on your device. Uninstalling the App removes that copy. Your original call-recording audio files belong to your phone's recorder app, not to RingKeeper — delete those through your recorder or Files app if you want them gone.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your lead data is deleted we cannot recover it, so export or note down anything you want to keep before you send the request.
